Oversized shades .. Jackie O

Oversized shades have been very popular over the years. Bringin back that vintage look. The most popular being Onassis glasses or "Jackie O's" which are very large sunglasses worn by women. This style of sunglasses is said to mimic the kind most famously worn by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in the 1960s. The glasses continue to be popular with women, and celebrities which help them keep low key from paparazzi. Men are also sporting oversized shades...brought back from the ol school Cazal days. The mighty Aviator

The Aviator ... (also known as "Pilot shades") are a style of sunglasses that were developed by Ray-Ban. They were given their name due to their oblique teardrop shape. The style has been popular since the 1960s, but became even more so in the 1980s following pop culture references and used by celebrities in films like Top Gun, where Val Kilmer and Tom Cruise sported them. As well as Michael Jackson the king of pop .. who did'nt want to be like MJ. Back from the weekend

I hope everyone had a great long weekend. The weather held up great. I know I enjoyed some great BBQ and good times. And got to wear my shades all day. Now back at the store looking at frames. Lena picked out one of her favorite frames for the summer. The Marc Jacobs 279/S it's totally hot and very edgy..literally. Check out the pics...we also have it in white.
